Norfolk Island pines prefer bright diffused light. Do not keep it in direct sun.
In spring, summer, and fall keep the soil moderately damp. In the winter water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. The Norfolk Island pine prefers high humidity. Mist the limbs to provide extra moisture.
In the summer a Norfolk Island pine ideally should be kept near 64-72 F. In the winter it likes to be kept cool, at least 41 F.
Tip for success: If you keep the pine in a corner of the room it will grow slanted.
