(Crassula arborescens)

Jade Plants prefer bright to full sun in the mornings and/or afternoons. Avoid full midday sunlight.

In the summer the plants prefer a warm temperature. In the winter a cooler location is ideal, about 50 F.

A moderately damp soil is preferred in the summer. In the winter, decrease the waterings slightly.

Fertilize the Jade periodically in the summer with cactus fertilizer and according to the manufacturer’s directions.

Key tip for success: These plants can become very heavy. Plant the Jade in sturdy, heavy containers to prevent the plant from falling over.
