Dracaenas prefer bright diffused light, not full sun. Colored leaf varieties of the dracaena must be kept in an area as bright as possible to prevent the colored leaves from turning to green.
They also prefer a warm temperature, around 64-77 F.
Keep the soil moderately damp, but not soggy, at all times.
Fertilize the dracaena periodically in the summer. Do not fertilize in the winter.
