A low light location is ideal for a peace lily plant. A shaded window will provide adequate light.

The plant's soil should be kept very moist, not soggy, at all times. Water it thoroughly and frequently. Never allow the soil to dry out. Drain the excess water in the saucer at the base of the pot to prevent root rot and to protect furniture.

Warm temperatures are ideal: Prefers 70-75 F (21-24 C) daytimes and 65-70 F (18-21 C) nights. Avoid excessively hot or cold areas.

Fertilize the peace lily plant periodically, following the manufacturer’s directions.

Key tips for success: Spathiphyllums (peace lilies) enjoy standing in a saucer of moist gravel. Use a soil high in organic content when repotting.
