A bright diffused light level is preferred with a Bonsai, but not direct sun.
Bonsai prefer to be planted in very little soil in a low dish. With such little soil, it dries out quickly. A tip to manage this problem is, mist the soil with water prior to watering. This allows water to penetrate the dry soil. They should be watered thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch.
Fertilize the Bonsai with specific Bonsai fertilizer according to the manufacturer’s directions.
